This article published in Salon by Glenn Greenwald looks into the horrendous state of affairs of American political life and the problems of the two party system.
I'm not a huge Ron Paul fan. I enjoy his logic and argument that he explained clearly in his last book, The Revolution, and I direct everyone to give it a read with an open-mind. It's a breath of fresh air.
Greenwald's very accurate argument in the article is something I have been commenting a lot on when I try to explain my own political and social leanings. If you are for the 2nd Amendment and it's goals in today's society, you don't necessarily have to be against abortion legislation. In all honesty, you should be for the illegality of the state having the ability to tell you what to do with your body... but I digress. Give it a read.
